Just the sweetest message of love after gaining an unexpected (dare I say unwanted!) new sibling! I was thrilled to find this after two happy granddaughters ungraciously learned a baby brother was on the way! The story opened up dialogue with Mommy and Daddy and paved the way to their changes of heart. Both girls are enamored with the colorful and whimsical illustrations as well. They love looking at the pictures over and over. Looking forward to the next Sarah Mishler book since this one was a total home run!!

When I read this book I was so taken with the reality it possess. Any family with two or more children would appreciate the child’s view of her little brother. It is beautifully illustrated. It made me smile. I purchased the book to read to my nieces and nephews and put it in their library. I believe parents would be drawn to this book and appreciate the values it upholds. I am excited for her next book and all to come from this writer.
